My name is Alyssa Pfeifer, and I am a filmmaker from Kansas City, Missouri. I’ve pursued film in cities in Kansas and Missouri, and have found my voice as a filmmaker telling stories that are few and far between in the Midwest. As an LGBTQ+ woman, I have fought to make my voice heard in my art, and will always fight for other creators with societal obstacles to have a voice with impact.

Along with my creative pursuits, I currently work as a multimedia producer with KAKE News, the ABC affiliate station in Wichita, Kansas, serving a majority of Kansans across the state. I work to produce promotions for our station and local events, as well as collaborating with a variety of clients to produce commercials and other content to increase their business.
